Leisurecraft Shipping Policy

At Dundalk LeisureCraft, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient shipping experience for your sauna purchase. Below are the key responsibilities of all parties involved in the delivery process, along with important shipping terms for both saunas and accessories.

Dundalk LeisureCraft Responsibilities:

  1. Building and Packaging: Your sauna will be carefully built and packed into a secure crate.
  2. Arranging Shipment: We will coordinate the shipping of your sauna directly to your home.

Trucking Company Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Appointment: The trucking company will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
  2. Curbside Delivery: The sauna will be delivered to the end of your driveway or curbside. Please note the following:
    • The trucking company is not responsible for unloading the sauna.
    • The truck will not back into your driveway.
    • Most deliveries will be made using an 18-wheel truck. Please ensure that this size vehicle can access your road or neighborhood.
  3. Lift Gate Assistance: If your sauna crate is less than 92” (7 feet), the truck may have a lift gate to assist in unloading. If the crate is larger than 92”, the customer is responsible for determining how to unload the crate as no lift gate will be available.

Customer Responsibilities:

  1. Return Calls Promptly: It is important to return phone calls from the trucking company promptly to schedule delivery.
  2. Unloading the Sauna: You are responsible for unloading the sauna crate from the truck. Crates vary in size from 6’L x 4’W x 3’H to 14’L x 4’W x 3’H, and weights range from 800 to 1600 pounds depending on the sauna size. Suggested unloading methods include:
    • Forklift: Ensure fork extensions are used, and pick up the crate from the end.
    • Tilt Tow Truck: Rent a tow truck to pick up the sauna from the terminal and deliver it to your home.
    • Manual Unloading: Have a team of helpers to either unload the crate from the truck or remove the sauna piece by piece.
  3. Damage Reporting: If the crate arrives damaged, you may accept the shipment but should immediately take photos and note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) as “Crate arrived open/damaged – Possible Hidden Damage.” Contact Dundalk or your dealer immediately to resolve the issue.

Shipping Terms:

  • Free Shipping: Free shipping is available within the Continental USA with a minimum order of $3,500 for saunas and $2,000 for outdoor furniture. For shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or remote areas/islands, please contact us for a custom shipping quote.
  • Business Deliveries: If shipping to a business, the facility must have a loading dock or appropriate equipment to unload the crate.
  • Residential Deliveries: For crates longer than 92”, the customer is responsible for unloading the sauna. Ensure that large trucks can access and turn around at your location.
  • Accessory Shipping: A flat shipping fee of $55.00 will apply to orders containing only accessories.

Additional Policies:

  1. Change of Shipping Address: If a change of address is requested before the order leaves the factory, it will be processed at no charge. However, once the order has left the factory, any address changes will incur a $250 fee.

  2. Storage Charges: If there is a delay in delivery due to unresponsiveness or other customer-related issues, and the trucking company begins to charge storage fees, those fees will be passed on to the customer.

Important Note: Dundalk LeisureCraft will handle all customs and border crossing requirements to ensure smooth delivery to international locations.
